Hi, my name is James.

I am a 24-year-old photographer/videographer originally from Chicago, Illinois, but now located in Newport News, Virginia. I graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Cinema, Television and Digital Media.

I started exploring videography and photography during my sophomore year of high school but started to pursue it seriously my freshman year of college. I tend to live by three words — honesty, integrity, and authenticity. These three words are what I use to drive my style of media and use to shape my life.

Some fun facts about me are that I love music, I am a musician, and I am an avid concert fan. I love coffee, and most of the time when I’m not busy, you’ll find me enjoying a warm latte at a small coffee shop probably talking about Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen. I also love Chicago sports. Anytime the Bears or Cubs are on, I’m probably watching the game or at least keeping up with the score.

I specialize in portrait photography, concert photography and documentary style film making, but I am open to videoing/photographing whatever your needs may be.

I have had the privilege to photograph many amazing people and bands including but not limited to Kirk Franklin, Billy Idol, Bill Johnson, Sean Feucht, Vanilla Ice and others. These are not moments or opportunities I take lightly and I look forward to the next opportunity whatever that may be.
